VP and Director appointment

Brothers and Sisters,

Vice President Roberto Tirelli has had to take a temporary leave from his duties for medical reasons. He assures us that he is getting better and that he will be back to work with in a few months. I'm sure all of you will join me in wishing him all the best and our prayers for a full and speedy recovery.

As Roberto will be gone for around 3 to 4 months, we felt it best to temporarily appointment a replacement. Director Henry Helfenbein has now been appointed by the Executive Board to temporarily perform the majority of the duties of Vice President (at his current salary) and Convention Delegate and Local Chair, Jim Daniel has been appointed by the Executive Board to temporarily perform the duties of Director, Pacific Region.

Ken Deptuck has agreed to take over the Return to Work portfolio, and all other officers will assist where necessary to prevent any disruption in service to the membership.

Thank you to Brothers Helfenbein, Deptuck and Daniel for stepping up to the plate when they were needed, and I'm sure that Roberto can rest a little easier knowing that his cases and outstanding issues will be taken care of until he returns.
