Bill C-257

October 28th, 2006

Brothers and Sisters,

Attached is an article from the Teamsters Canada website. This is a giant step in securing fair and equitable contracts in Canada and in protecting worker's rights.

I was at a dinner last night for the 50th anniversary of the CLC and was honoured to meet and was able to discuss this win with Monseiur Denis Coderre (MP Bourassa), as well as his assistant Benoit Bouvier. We owe them tremendous thanks for their untiring efforts in securing Liberal support for this Bill.

Special thanks must also be given to Brother Phil Benson, for going above and beyond in fighting for this important legislation.

We still have a long way to go, but with all of us standing together, we will win.

Fraternally,

Bill Brehl
President
