TCRC MWED Educational Grants

November 9th, 2006

Brothers and Sisters,

I am pleased to announce that the TCRC MWED will be awarding four (4) separate $500.00 Educational Grants (scholarships) as a result of our participation in the Union Savings Program.

All TCRC MWED members, their spouses, children and grandchildren are eligible to apply for these Educational Grants.

The applicant must be attending an accredited post-high school institution in 2007.

To apply, send your resume' outlining your name, address, phone #, date of birth, relationship to TCRC MWED member, institution where you are enrolled, educational program and your educational plans.

You are also required to send a 500 word essay on a Union/labour related topic of your choosing. Applications will be judged by committee and the scholarships will be awarded on the style and content of the essay.

All applications and essays submitted become the property of the TCRC MWED and the winning essays will be printed on our website. Each applicant will only be eligible for one (1) grant.
