IBT Election results

November 17th, 2006

Brothers and Sisters,

I am pleased to announce that General President Hoffa has been re-elected and will serve a third term as President of the strongest Union in the world. President James Hoffa led his Unity slate to victory today, securing the future of the Teamsters organization as the voice of labour and as a force to be reckoned with in all Union related issues.

As you know, Teamsters Canada President Robert Bouvier and the Canadian VP's Don McGill and Tom Fraser, were already elected by acclimation this past June at Convention.

Congratulations President Jim Hoffa and Secretary/ Treasurer Tom Keegel as well as your entire team.

We now have a complete International Executive Board and officers that we can be proud of. In my opinion....ALL Teamsters are the real winners today.
