A brief Message on the Passing of Albert Colin Nepinak

Brothers and Sisters,

On Saturday, August 12, 2006, surrounded by family Albert left to be with his maker to walk his spiritual journey to the other world.

Albert leaves behind his wife Sandra of 33 years, son, Shaun (Jamie), Sheldon (Katie), Shastin (Linda), his daughters, Sharlotte (Wesley), and Sharon, three grandsons, Billy, Michael and Ashton, his stepsons, Terrt (tracy), Allen (Heather), Stephanie (Kelly) and adopted daughter, Rosie. Also surviving is one brother, Michael (Shirley), sisters, Rose, Matilda, Agnes (Garry), Susan, Beatrice, Yvonne, Delores (Stanley) and Juliette (Raymond), two uncles, Archie Nepinak, Henry Chartand and numerous nieces and Nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Ralpheal in 1962, Mother, Marie Louise in 1972, two brothers, Harold in 1984 and Lawrence in 1994.

Albert was a joy to work with, he was employed with CPRail for 23 years. No one could run a Tie Crane like Albert, he spent most of his career in a Tie Crane on the Manitoba Tie Crew. Albert was always willing to share his experience and knowledge you just had ask and he was there.

Albert enjoyed making people laugh, and his humour made him liked by everyone that knew him, but to hear him laugh was all that was needed to make everyone around him smile.

Funeral Services were held at the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, August 17th in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba. With family, friends and the Manitoba Tie Crew in attendance to pay there respects to Albert. Albert, you will always be remembered every time I see a Tie Crane on the track.

Should you so desire memorial donations may be made in Albert's name to the Central Plains Cancer Care Services, 318 Saskatchewan Ave. E. Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8.

Fraternally yours,

Gary Doherty
Albert's Friend and Brother
