Thank you to Brothers Daniel and Helfenbein

July 13th, 2006

Brothers and Sisters,

Last February, when VP Tirelli took a medical leave from his duties, Brother Henry Helfenbein stepped up to fill as VP leaving a temporary vacancy of Director in the Pacific Region.

The Executive Board unanimously agreed to move Local Chair Jim Daniel into the position during Brother Helfenbein's absence, to insure no interruption in the representation to the members.

I want to take this opportunity to commend Brother Helfenbein on the work that he performed as VP and to thank him for his assistance. He handled his new duties exceptionally and truly took a lot of work off of my shoulders.

Brother Daniel will be going back to the tools on Monday July 17th, 2006 and on behalf of the entire Executive Board and the members on the Pacific Region, I would like to thank him for everything that he did for us and for the membership over the last 5 months. It was a difficult time, but Jim jumped in and got to work. I don't think that he even took one weekend off! His advice and opinions on Executive Board decisions were invaluable and his representation and work ethic kept everything running smoothly in the Pacific.

Once again thank you to Jim and Henry for their dedication, their hard work and their help.

Together we are the strongest Union in the world.

Fraternally,

Bill Brehl
