End of Trusteeship

Brothers and Sisters,

I am proud to announce that the International Brotherhood of Teamsters General President, James Hoffa has accepted President Bouvier's request to remove the TCRC MWED from trusteeship as of January 1, 2006.

This is an historic moment and would not have been possible without the hard work and assistance of so many.

Thanks go to Brother Ron Douglas, Stephan Lacoste, the By-Laws committee and everyone else who helped get our By-laws together and to the delegates to convention who unanimously accepted them.

Thanks to Bob Bouvier, Teamsters Canada President and our Trustee since June, 2004 and his Assistant, Francois Laporte who guided us through this arduous journey. You will forever be our friends and Brothers.

And thank you to the membership for your support and patience while we made this transition. Nothing is possible without you.

The future is ours to direct.... and we will. We will lead, we will not follow... we are Teamsters. Proud. United and Strong.

In solidarity,

Bill Brehl
President
TCRC MWED
