Meeting in Ottawa on Monday

June 1, 2007

Brothers and Sisters,

Today I received a letter form Labour Minister Blackburn, advising that he has appointed his chief mediator, Elizabeth MacPherson, to assist the TCRC MWED and CPRail to resolve their dispute.

Ms. MacPherson has requested that the parties meet with her on Monday June 4th in Ottawa. The letter was addressed to myself and CP VP Andrew Shields.

I have advised Ms. MacPherson that I will attend and will call her tomorrow to get details of where the meeting will be.

I have asked President Bouvier to accompany me, as it appears that the company will be having Andrew Shields as well as Rick Wilson in attendance.

I am keeping an optimistic outlook and will work towards a positive outcome to this session.
